West Bank North Real Estate a Favorite Among Jackson Hole Real Estate Buyers

Subdivisions seem to out number peaks of the Tetons in the northern area of the West Bank. From a bird’s eye perspective the real estate in this land is spotted with rooftops of all shapes and sizes, and trees hold their ground between the real estate developments. From the Village Road though, all of this is hidden, and you can only imagine where all the roads lead; many are still dirt.

The northern area of the West Bank is popular among prospective buyers of Jackson Hole real estate due to the ever-increasing amenities that front the road and the proximity to Teton Village and Grand Teton National Park. The town of Wilson is just south, and the town of Jackson is barely over a stone’s throw away.

Turing onto Highway 390, better known as the Village Road, nearly every side street winds through a different subdivision, filled with prime Jackson Hole real estate. The area among the Jackson Hole real estate market may occasionally have a six-figure home, considered a reasonable option, in this neck of the woods. To the west, Stilson Ranch sits in the open flats between the Snake River and the Tetons. Aside from a small sign on the Village Road, Willowbrook is invisible through the trees. Lake Creek, pressed between Highway 390 and the Tetons, doesn’t even have a sign.

On the east side of the road, signs proclaim Tucker Ranch, Wilderness Ranches, John Dodge, and B-HIVE; these are exclusive trophy home areas and offer some of the best of Jackson Hole real estate. Even the least expensive homes will start above $2 million. Classy finishes, water features, landscaping, restrictive covenants and land easements heighten the value of these prime properties.

The idyllic Fish Creek Road runs north and south along the base of the range at the westernmost side of this region. Fish Creek Road and the Wilson neighborhoods exemplify a perfect microcosm of Jackson Hole real estate and are extremely popular among Jackson Hole locals and buyers interested in Jackson Hole real estate. Look for convenience around Owen Bircher Park in downtown Wilson. Historic log cabins sit next to funky artists’ studios, small condos crammed with ski bums, and gated family retreats. Some subdivisions are as small as 3 or 4 lots and showcase uber-exclusive living with monster homes. Hardeman Ranches, just east of the new Wilson school, even has vacant land for sale. Each of these areas is sought-after with its respective Jackson Hole real estate buyer.

Jackson Hole, Wyoming real estate owners and visitors make use of the well-stocked Aspen’s Market & Deli. Westside Wine & Spirits offers a unique and plentiful selection of wines for in-home catered affairs that have become de rigueur in the region. Teton Pines Country Club has membership privileges but offers the public gourmet cuisine and a well-heeled, semi-private golf course. Banks, Jackson Hole real estate offices, athletic clubs and restaurants line the highway. The Calico is an old standard with Italian fare, but you’ll find every flavor: Austrian, sushi, and BBQ. //
